Hi all !

Newbie here from Long Island NY . Just getting started with detecting , don't even have a detector yet but I will in a short while . I've got plenty of beaches to search and access to some pretty old homesteads here locally and further away upstate . Hope to learn lots from folks here and have some fun along the way .

Thanks Tom , I'm just north of Pathogue . Still hunting for a detector , kinda waiting for the Equinox to come out and see the real world reviews , right now the CTX is at the top of my list but I'll probably get something lower priced to start off with . Maybe a Mojave or similar .
