I don’t know where you will be hunting and what your needs are, but take a look at some of this guy’s videos. He is here in Pittsburgh and has several videos hunting parks and old sites using a Vanquish and he’s doing very well. Gives you a very good idea of what it is capable of. Vanquish was my second choice when I bought my Simplex. I just bought a used 540 this weekend and I cannot wait to try it out. Been watching a lot of beach hunting videos too and it pretty much is a turn on and go detector. Looks to do very well on the beach.
