Hello everyone! I finally figured out how to take better pics. I posted this coin before but not nearly as good. I found this coin at an old cellerhole last year. Any guesses at the date? I really can't tell myself. I soaked it in olive oil for about 2 weeks but it still has crud on it. Do you tink I should soak it again? I have alot more better pics to post soon. Hope you enjoy!

Nice find Luce, I wonder how that go there ?, it looks British rather than Canadian.

Date on GII?

Hey, It looks like a 1736 but the date is almost gone. obviously it a 17 and the last digit looks like a 6 and I'm really stretching it for the 3. I don't think you will get a better date off of it than you have now, but you never know. Great George II. Hope you find more coins over there.

Wow Thats unbelievable Luce. Great Find!! Nice pictures. ( i think it looks good the way it is, you might loose some detail with too much soaking!)
