So about 10 times out detecting and pulling lots of clad I finally got my first silver. I was getting a jumpy 31-15ish VDI signal which I usually don't dig but as it turns out the liberty and a nail were close. I will now dig those jumpy signals more often!

Congrats on the first Silver! Love them old merc's. One thing I learned with my 600 is it doesnt like to skip any good targets, even if its close to something we have notched out. Itll at least try to tell ya what's there lol. The all metal button comes into play when I hit deep 32-34 targets but its bouncy.. hit the button and use a tight swing, if the number stays in the high tones but dips down a time or two into negative numbers, I'll dig it and see. Could be shiney with iron in there. If it's a scratchy high or not to consistent and you hit the button and it stays low... time to go. It also bounces the numbers around pretty good on DEEP wheaties.
