And What Else Comes in with the Tide in Florida?

Hey Scuba.
I've seen them here not far from Sebastian Inlet. I've had guys tell me I'm crazy that gators don't go in salt water. Well I am a little crazy but I'm not blind.

It's not a gator, it's a saltwater croc!

It's the polar bears a guy really has to watch out for. Crocodiles, meh!

:shock:Wow...and i thought shy but deadly sea snakes were bad...

I would NOT want that guy nipping at my heals while I'm swinging in the shallows!

I spotted this one off the beach at Venice (Florida) last year.

Its not common but on a few occasions I have seen gators in salt water. Our rivers empty in the bays and gulf and I not seen any in the Gulf but I have a few times boating in the bays,,,,,,,,,GL HH

saltwater crocs

seen a few around Sanibel, Captiva island. Nasty grumpy things. Watch your six around them.

We get the Orca's swim by our city Vancouver fairly often..never been at the right place yet to see but my sister has.

Over here on Fernandina Beach / Amelia Island they have had to remove a few from the beach areas and up at Fort Clinch. All I could think about is how many times I have MDed and fished those areas knee to waist deep in water.
