Found this last weekend, unfortunately its incomplete. From what is there I believe it reads OH BRYA. The piece has been broken off after the A in Brya but I suppose it could be any name variation...Bryans, Bryant....you get the idea.
I'm just guessing that's its military related because of what else was found in the area. Several MA militia button, (2) civil war era infantry buttons, numerous other flat buttons, and lots of fired bullets. My friend who hunts it regularly guesses it may have been an area they trained in. Just a guess though.
