Thereare lots of videos on it you might researh to see what others have found , also research the history of places you wish to visit. here are some of the videos https://www.bing.com/videos/search?...ting&qpvt=world+war+2+relic+hunting&FORM=VDRE and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MEosaLS0DtE

I've hunted the Bastogne, Belgium area. Found plenty of stuff. Even had a story printed in Eastern/Western Treasure magazine 1993. The farmers graciously gave me permission to hunt fields and helpful pointing out areas to detect. CAUTION is the word when hunting WWII relics. I found a ton of old live munitions. Good Luck!

From the youtube videos, a lot of hunting goes on in Germany. They have shown some bunkers they go in and metal detect around them. But under any conditions be sure to have a solid permission. And remember a lot of the shells can be dangerous to handle.
