Went back out where we found the 1947 silver washington today and boy am I glad we did! Started the day off with a few wheaties and not long after I got a solid 33-34 on the Nox. Started digging the plug and about 5 inches or so, out popped this awesome 1919 Canadian silver quarter. I've never dug one of these so I was especially excited. Not long after that Amanda dug up her first silver ring for the year and there on the inside it was marked "Sterling" clear as day. Literally as I was walking back from checking her ring out I got a solid 26-27 on the Nox and got a 1949 D. Rosie. This is the first time we've ever gone out and got 2 silver coins in once trip! Super excited to get back! These 2 coins make 7 FTY and this is also the most silvers we've ever pulled out from one area. The most we've ever pulled out of one area was 2, but this one so far has given up 4! We need one more to tie last year's silver coin total! Cant belive how well we're doing this year! At least we think so anyway haha. Thanks for looking!

I'll bet that spot will spit out coins for some time to come. Go slow and really grid it out. Don't be afraid to go over the same spots you already detected, but from different angles. Once you feel you have covered the area pretty well, bump up the sensitivity some, or throw the big coil on. Good luck and keep us posted, great hunting!

Thanks! I sure hope so! The first time we ever hit this spot we dug up 8 or so wheatie's, a silver Rosie and a ring. I knew there had to be more. The building is on the side of a big empty field where I can only guess, used to be a public gathering area. The building itself says 1910 on it and that's where we found most of the wheatie's right next to.it. decided to grid the rest of the field and started getting ramdom wheatie's. Figured there had to be some silvers in it lol not much rhyme or reason to it but there's definitely coins out there.

Practice and persistence leads to experience. The more you have of this will led to even more great finds. Congrats to you both on the Silver's and the Sterling. Somehow I think your not gonna stop at one more but will have a great year putting some nice finds into your coffers. Trapper
