I have been in this hobby before, like many years ago. I have a Whites Classic III SL, and a Bounty Hunter Sharpshooter. Neither of them work properly. Looking to get a new unit...thinking about the Simplex+ and a pinpointer. I would like to stay under $400. Thoughts or advice ?

I was curious as to how long "many years ago" was. I found a picture of me detecting in the mid 70's...also I bought the Whites in 1996. Ready to upgrade!

Get the simplex if you want waterproof if you don’t need that get a Vanquish

Hmm gotta find a detector you bond with.
I like my At pro and Minelab Equinox.
Am planning on getting a Minelab Vanquish 440 in the future.
