Found this while detecting yesterday. Seems heavy for it's size. Any idea on it's age? Thank you!

If your bottle was made by Root, it should on the foot of the bottle near the bottom say (VERY SMALL LIGHTLY EMBOSSED) "ROOT" and then some space and then a 2-digit number. That'll be the date, most likely in the 1920s. Other makers could have the 2 digit date on the exact bottom, or the city it was bottled in. By WW2 and later these were ACL (painted) labels. I have one from my town on the bottom and "ROOT 25" on the heel.

Cleaner pictures. Bottom is plain and I do not see the word "root" anywhere. Thanks!

From the looks of your bottle the word root may be chipped off from case wear. Mine say's ROOT 25. I have added a picture of mine and where the word Root would appear on yours i see case wear/slight chipping. Being that the lettering was raised the embossing would be the first to wear off. Great bottle. I would put its age to mid 1920s. Look just above my thumb nail.
