New Hunt 01/28/2019

I tried a new large kid's playground area and the surrounding grass areas. The playground was all in wood chips. I found most of the clad coins in the playground around the equipment in the wood chips and a few in the grass areas surrounding the playground. The grass areas were frozen solid despite many good coin signals and I could not dig most of them. I do intend to hit this site again when the ground thaws !! A new snow storm today and very frigid temps for the next several days after today's snow has ended. It's been a very tough year so far for good hunting conditions. The total for this short hunt was $ 6.34 with 14 pennies not shown. I have some new permissions just waiting for better weather, These should produce some early finds as the sites are all from the 1800's. GL to all & HH.
