Trime time

Found a trime and the KG II Hibernia behind a circa 1910 school today. Field clearly had activity before that as I have found some older flat buttons and other various time period stuff there in the past. These are the first 19th and 18th century coins to come out of there though :yes:

Wow, wow. The Trime is highest on my wish list also.

What is the date?

1852. All five of my trimes are the type 1(1851-53 80% silver). The later ones are much harder to find

Not if you only hunt 20th century homes but I know some were still in circulation at least until the late 1870s. Houses of that age are pretty common throughout the east coast I would think. The vast majority of trimes though were minted and lost before the civil war
 
That is TOTALLY UNFAIR to find that at a school that only dates to 1910. Admit that you cheated ! Sheesk , what's next ? LC's in modern sandboxes ? :sissyfight:
 
Two gorgeous examples of coins I will never have the opportunity to dig. Completely jealous. Fantastic job!
