Quick hunt

I was able to do a quick, 1 hr or so, hunt at my best friend's house last night. Found the horse shoe last about 1 in down or so. The other big item is cast iron and looks to be some kind of attachment for something. The area was a big farm a long time ago.

That is a very cool and well fitted Horseshoe! I dont know what the other thing is...But a guy could build a complete story around that one horseshoe...Imagine that horse and what times it has seen...

Back in those days, "For want of a nail a shoe was lost, for want of a shoe a horse was lost, for want of a horse a rider was lost, for want of a rider a battle was lost, for want of a battle the Kingdom was lost!~...all for the want of a horseshoe nail"..thats the thing...you found the shoe! That's a helluva chilling find!..
