Beautiful Day in the Woods

Saturday was in the 40's and I was fortunate enough to meet up with a few guys in the woods.
Started out with the MINTY 37 Merc just 5 minutes after saying hi to Randy.
Then 30 minutes later Scott shows up.
I had a mixed signal which turned out to be the V-nickel and 1887 injun in the same hole.
Pat arrived later and the last one in was PJ.
I think everybody found at least one keeper.
This was the perfect way to spend a sunny day in December.

For as much as we complain about the weather sometimes(and rightfully so), last weekend Mother Nature went and totally redeemed herself! It sure was easy to forgive and forget all the nasty weather and partially frozen ground to have another crack at things,you guys sure made the most of it. I’m sure it’s not the last crack though,especially with coins like those to be found! Congrats on making it happen Mat,it’s always fun to hang in “da woods”... :grin:
