Any of you experienced detectorists seen a buckle like this? Found in Alexandria VA on site of a camp used by the 38th and 40th New York Regiments during the occupation of Alexandria.

Also found was this Enfield round with the P in the base. Thoughts?

I'm just over in McLean and I have found a few buckles like that. Usually the pin looks like it's hand forged around the square piece.

Buckle could be just about anything. P base Enfield believed to have been made by William Pursall.
