Default Finds: New fields.

I was very fortunate last summer to have access to quite a few more fields when one of the landowners purchased several more farms.

Some of the fields were put straight under crop, some grass and some were just laid to fallow.

I have spent the last few weeks searching the new fields, results, some good some bad but it is early days.

Thanks for looking....Doug.

One of 6 fields in this location, village church top left hand corner.

Folded hammered silver coin.

Badge.

Large harness buckle.

Coins

Buckles.

Newbury racecourse 1933 membership badge, gentleman's

Ladies one is slightly smaller, stock image.

Decorative item.

Barrel tap.

Lead items.

Piece of decorative metal, no ID.

Horse brass, not sure which way is up!

Hammered silver groat (folded) of Philip & Mary AD1554-1558.
What is unusual about this coin is it only shows the head of Mary.

Thank you for your kind words and views.

I'm out on Monday looking at some more new fields, possible the grass may be high for searching so I may have to have a plan B.
