I received this in an email a short time ago.
This man lives about 30 miles from where we live.

I read the article and thought wow what a true hero in my mind.
After I read the article, my wife said that is her uncle.

We have only been married going on 7 years, have not met all her family but met this man a couple years ago, not knowing that he was a veteran.

these ww2 guys have been thru more than thier share of combat, in my opinion, these guys are our greatest generation, i know a few ww2 vets, and some of thier stories are unbelieveable,there are so many people today that dont even have a clue as to what these guys did for us, as americans, for others, french, italians, polish, jews, etc.etc,we need to get the pride back into this country, semper fi to all my brothers in arms, thanks for for your service and sacrifices, and letting us all sleep safe
