Just got the t2 SE and I'm looking for tips or advice on pretty much anything and everything. Only have 3 hours on it and I've pulled a handful of deep wheats and clad in a park type site with moderate to light trash. Ran at 80 sens, 40 disc and boost process. I'm wondering if Dropping sens in boost will still give me optimal depth while dropping some of the chatter. Also I am primarily a coin shooter. Thanks ahead and happy hunting.

I only use boost to check a deeper signal or if I'm hunting corn field where you're lifting the coil farther off the ground. I don't like boost all the time. Slows down the detector and I like to swing fast and cover a lot of ground

Try this to start out

89 Sens (anything under under is usually the most stable), 49 Disc , 1+

I've learned this method from coindog1, he's a T2 expert ;)

Dig all the solid repeatable signals with pretty consistent numbers.

When you get more experience you might want to lower the disc a little bit and dig the more jumpy signals. But when you encounter a good signal with the T2, you know it

Not sure if you want to get this technical, but if you do there is no better place to start than here.

Nasa Tom delves into the settings and inner workings on detectors deeper than any other.
Very scientific observations backed up by a lot of in the field testing.
Mostly talks about the F75 here, but mentions the T2 and even the F70 and plainly states several times that most information and behavior written about here will be common and shared among all 3 since they are all built on the same basic architecture and possess similar program although with slight tweaking of that programming in each one.
