I gave the big lake beach and it's wonderful scenery a break today and hiked into one of my favorite old lakes.
It's a long walk so this time I tethered a float to my waist pouch to carry my stuff and some food and my camera.
Much better than carrying all that so far. And I had my camera!

Beautiful summer day and I scored a nice old 10 gram 10k school ring.

Thanks for looking! Good hunting out there folks!

Look at that beautiful calm water! I envy that! Nice ring! Love the oldies!

Well done! Heard of a Huckleberry but not a TerryBerry?

I have harvested a few of those rare TerryBerries. They were popular around these parts. Luckily they are always ripe when you find them and all have the same main color of golden. The only difference in them is sometimes the pit is showing and they have different color pits. Jim's is red. I have found blue and white ones.

Nice recovery, WTG!
I've found Herff Jones, Jostens, Balfour and Jenkens & Sons Class rings....but no Terryberry. It's on my to find list now!

Super awesome! It has the art-deco look that I thought would be pre-war but wow, '67 is still amazing!
