Awesome thankyou. I think alot of the problem is that they mount that thin speaker directly to that thick plastic. They probably do it because the water pressure at 200ft is huge and would collapse a standard speaker. So the tones go right out the window. I was thinking of using mylar instead of goretex. Do you think that will be ok? If they get ruined i will have seven more pairs of audiosears anyway lol. Thanks for the help just have to find some acrylic tube and i will be set.

Long story short on that post, someone sent me a email giving me a hard time for sharing the design and not putting in a plug/recommend for there headphones.

Basically, they copied my design and now make a similar set using the audiosears 2463's.

There is a guy named Harold that makes a really good waterproof headphone for the ctx on the 3030 findmall forum. Plenty of power.
 
Looking forward to seeing how this mod worked out, I have the GGA and I agree, much too quiet, but I've submerged them a couple times and was okay leak wise. If it works well you will have an incoming PM from myself lol

Its a little late for me to go that route. I had to spend 140 at audio sears just to get there minimum order requirements. Plus brand spanking new gguw headphones and all the supplies. Lol.

This is not my design. It is OBN'S but if it works i would love to help you out!
 
all done

I finished the mod!!!!!!! they came out great. I am running my volume at 18 and they are crystal clear. sound is identical to my sunray pro golds. i have not water tested them yet because i wanted to let them finish curing but im super happy with them. I will let you all know how the water test goes tonight or tomorrow. Thank you so much OBN!!!!
