First Wheat !!! Good News Bad News :-(

Well I finally went someplace besides my backyard. I went to a local Camp with Bowser, real nice guy highly recommend if your looking to get out for a little detecting. Well the good news is I not only found my first Wheat, I found three of them Only problem is they are in really bad shape Oh well, it was still a good day And I found a dime, a quarter and lots of bullets and casings plus a small hoe. I have to say the Cibola was really impressive, Thanks Tony, I'm hooked !!!!!!

Congrats on the wheaties cant help what condition they are in that just means you need to find more of them

It was in the low 20's today and the wind chill made it much colder so we were only out for 3 hours. We only covered a small area at the Camp, I'll be going back

I'm sure you'll love your Tesoro !!! You'll pickup on what it's telling you really fast. That hoe and one of the pennies I found were almost a foot deep. Take a look at this review it has some good tips, should be about the same for the Vaquero, I belive the only difference between the two is the ground balancing.
