Probably my best week of detecting

Well, I've been pounding this old park week after week and it keeps pulling me back in. This past week or so has probably been my best thus far in terms of finding old coins.

Last weekend it started with the 1920 and 1941 Mercs and the no date buffalo. Fast forward to this weekend and scored my first spill, a 1903 V nickel and no date buffalo stuck together in the same hole! Managed another buffalo and the old copper ring with Chinese script on it. Next day came the 1900 V nickel and the 1903 Barber dime, and the Sterling spoon handle.

I was ready to give up on this spot because it's so trashy but I think the more I jell with the nox800 the more I can pull out of this place. I was running Field 2, sens 22.

Dude!!!! Sweet work Jeff! Awesome! Love that spoon and ring. That’s some good detecting, that park is tough, you’re showing it who’s boss!

I can’t seem to get out much and won’t be back much to that park till swim lessons kick back up next year

Congrats man! Good to see your killing it with the Nox there!

Good to see some fellow Californian's show & tell. And as for the nickel's condition: Well , gee..... Our coins wouldn't be HALF AS FUN if they came out of the ground candy-apple clean and nice , eh ? Ground kiss makes them all-the-more beautiful, eh ?

Thank you all! It was a hot week and my back is killing me. I will take this week off and hit it again next week.

Thanks, the Nox has definitely been the game changer for me. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, and some guys complain about bad target I'd on the Nox, but you definitely know when there's something good under the coil.

It's definitely one if the nicest I've pulled out if the ground lately. The patina is awesome.
