It has been a rather slow start to the year with the weather not cooperating, but the last couple of weeks have been nicer. With the snow melt and the thaw, the fields were impossible to get into, but I decided to try today. It was a mess. Any hole deeper than 6" slowly filled with water, and it was touch and go a few times concerning getting my boots unstuck from the muck. There is a guy I know who owns the farm of one of the founders of our little town. I have had some luck in the field next to the house, and today, my luck continued. I managed a 1903 O Dime, and a Milk Token from HM Dairy in St. Louis, MO. - good for 1 pint. The token doesn't look the greatest, but I have learned not to try to clean it or mess with it much. The only detail I can see on the back is it was located on Market Street in St. Louis. Thanks for looking, and happy hunting!
