Tesoro golden sabre modifications?

So I am extremely new to this.
I have a tesoro golden sabre which has 2 extra switches on ( see pics)
I've found one mutes the speaker but the second runs down and under the circuit board and is soldered there (also in pics)
I've switched between 2 positions but can't hear anything different so maybe you could help

One idea maybe a surface blanker feature like the Royal Sabre had.
If testing with a coin does it make the signal go away when target is within an inch or two of the coil?

Just kicking around ideas of what one might alter on those type machines,
Could possibly affect the notch width?

Hard to say without having the machine to play with.
So many things have been tinkered with on Tesoros.

Can't tell from the photos, but I've heard of a Tesoro mod to change frequency, to avoid interference. Built in on the Tesoro Vaquero, maybe other models (not Tejon, though). Maybe you could test it by finding an interference source (like another Golden Sabre), and seeing if the switch affects it.

Would love to know about this too. Just got a Golden Sabre a couple months back and am looking for a ground balance mod.
