Found another pocket spill at the park - 12 coins in a 1'x1' area!!!!! The down side was - they were all memorial cents. My son found a clad quarter on the way back to the car just lying on the ground. I had to dig for .12 cents and all he had to do was pick up .25 cents. Doesn't seem fair but we still had fun.

I think like that all the time, anytime I see change on the ground or people just walking over change just sitting on the floor of the super market, I rush to grab it because I think, heck you know how hard I would normally have to work to pull 25 pennies out of the ground to get the same value of that one coin sitting there on the floor.
I also have a habit of checking all coin returns and under every vending machine I walk by.
Why dig them if I can just pick them up. Saturday I got 8 free tokens at Dave and Busters by checking the dispense slots and the floor.
