You need to clean that up a little and see what that town name actually is. I looked at this list of N.J. cities but nothing looks like it, so the town on the token may have been renamed (?).

Thanks Glasshopper, unfortunately it’s as clean as it’s getting. There’s corrosion over a letter in the name and last letter of the state. I was hoping the Pharmacy name, which is legible, would be my path to an ID but no such luck yet.

Could be, I thought the corrosion spot on the town name was only big enough for 1 letter but I definitely could be wrong.

I also believe it is Hillsdale, which is included in the N.J. cities list provided by Glasshopper.

Great Token...
I had one in worse condition and used Aluminum Jelly on it.
Put it on with a Q'tip and let it soak.
Checked often and reapplied.
Came out great from what it started out as.
You can't do anything about the pits but it might make the letters show better.

If it is indeed Hillsdale, you might connect with local historians there as they will know local businesses that are/were there.

Jones & O’Brien Pharmacy, Hinsdale, NH 1890s-early 1900s
They owned both a druggist and clothier. Charles Jones sold the clothier in 1899. He sold his interest in the drug co. in 1898 to his brother, Frederick.
