Old foundation in the woods

Detected around an old foundation that was out in the woods. The only good thing I found was the pictured horse item. Not sure what it was used as. Any ideas?
I included some pics of the area. You can see the huge sugar maples that used to line the front yard.

Looks like the type of sites I've been hunting. I believe your horse item is a watch fob. Never know what the next signal will bring at sites like those, good luck out there!

I have a site kind of like that. Some rock walls. Several of the trees in a line are pomegranates, and they are still producing good edible fruit, 100-200 years later. I'm still trying to figure out where the house actually was.
