Wheatie #11 and a spill of old bullets from the yard today. Was going to hit another spot today but decided to just stay at the house. I definitely need to get into the woods to hunt or a farm soon before I throw my detector because of all the targets lol. I think tomorrow I will botch to 70 and lose out on depth and see if I can grab any more silver. With all these wheaties there has to be another piece of silver besides the one I found. Three bullets that had the rem umc s&w 32 came from the same whole. The U from another. My first bullet spill.

I dont mind brass, but unspent rounds bother me. Not that it would ever happen, but afraid to tap primer with digging tool.

Even if you hit the primer and the thing did fire all you,d get is a loud pop if unconfined as in a gun barrel. The cartridge with the U headstamp is a .22 rimfire,Remington brand most likely. The U comes from Union Metallic Cartridge Co. which Remington acquired.Been used for many years by Remington to the present date.
