I really enjoy seeing everyone's finds and reading the back stories to the hunt but I have to share my average finds.
I'm hunting a farm that has been in operation since the 1930's. The property was part of the encampments for the Cherokee removal and Fort Cass in 1835. Sherman brought his entire army through this area and camped overnight a mile or so away while they rebuilt a bridge. Sounds great doesn't it? Oldest coin found was 1947 wheat penny and I have found 1 fired 3 ringer.
I need some encouraging words, guidance or suggestions. I digging most everything I spared you the bucket of cans, nails, barb wire and old fence T post.
Cheers,
Ken
