Quick post from today's hunt, only thing good was a Howard Sterling Company Sterling Silver spoon. 10.9 grams of goodness. The company was in business from 1878-1902 out of Rhode Island. The makers mark in the ad is an exact version of what is on the spoon. Pretty Cool!!

HH and GL, Happy Valentines to you and yours!

Awesome spoon! Hope to find a sterling spoon some day, congrats!

Actually, when I think about it, this is my first spoon, unless you count spoon rings...I have found several of those, but this is the "bowl". TY.

Congrats on the mini-spoon! Odd place to find it at the beach.

Not really, we pull stuff that is 1800s around some of the beaches here, money and food go hand in hand;)

Wow it's pretty far from home! Really nice score!!!

Yeah some debutante traveled from the east coast by train with her silver and met one of those "grungy" PNW'er guys and the rest is history.....:laughing::laughing:

Common around these parts. At least it's silver. Many here are burnt from junkies cooking a batch. Gotta be careful , syringes usually near by.
