So I hit a series of 4 1900s homes today, mainly the curb strips in front of them and two front yards (very small areas). I was really hoping for silver today but it was very trashy to "terrible" at 2 of the strips. Found 2 Wheaties today one from a front yard and one from the curb strip of a 1905 and 1902 home(s).

Didn't find a lot of clad, was really targeting silver but was happy with a 1944D Wheatie and the 1910S Semi-Key date "old man". It was very very green coming out has some edge crust but the coin itself is in very good condition not bad for a 108 year old coin.

For now it is in a flip and I couldn't be happier with such an old Wheat. I know there is silver in the areas I hunted, just had a lot of other obligations today that I had to get to...2 1/2 hours of total hunt time and a little over $1.50 in clad.

Nice early wheatie, congrats.

TY

Nice find!

That is about what you find in the first 5 minutes the way your hunts are going

Nice wheatie, good luck when you get out again! :)

Thank you

Wow thats a good looking Abraham to say the least! Nice dig!

The surfaces are in very good condition. Just the edges are a little corroded.

Nice oldie Paul!

Thanks Kevin I was actually getting upset that the silver wasn't showing...
