Found this tiny old bottle in a farm field where a home used to be. No markings that I can see. The opening is a bit thinner on one edge than the other, the neck looks a little leaning to one side, and quite a few air bubbles in it... Just curious if there's a way to tell the age by the way it's made?

That bottle would probably date right around the turn of the century if I had a guess. Definitely an applied top, and looks pretty crude, which makes me think it may be before 1900. Not sure what would have been sold in it, possibly a small medicine bottle. Cool find!!!

I agree with cellrdwellr, it does look maybe 1890s due to its' crudeness. Being that small, it may have been a sample bottle.

Thanks fellas !

fun to think they were working with bottles that size and applying tops

I've found those before and don't remember why but I thought they were measured doses of animal vaccine.
