Abandoned Ballfield Hunt

Saturday's hunt was at an abandoned baseball field that dates back to the 1960's. All the finds were clad but the total was pretty good....46 coins worth $8.05 with a high percentage of quarters.

Seeing as how you're in Connecticut, I'm shocked that an LC wasn't in with the mix of clad from the 1960's site !

Thank you Tom for reminding me about the pictures of Large Cents that I dug in modern schoolyards and ballfields. I'm sending this post just for you with the updated photos. My apologies if you've seen these Large cent photos before because as you know, we Easterners trade them back and forth so that we can put out phony posts involving old copper.

Congrats on another good hunt with a nice clad haul. I see my Dr. tomorrow and hopefully will be cleared to do some short hunts. GL & HH.
