Went back to the 1812 site where I found an officer’s cuff button last week.

Today I found a nice musket ball and an interesting button. The face has a diamond pattern on the face.

Anybody recognize it?

Dandy style civilian period button and 69 or 75 caliber musket ball. Stay on that site! Use calipers or ruler and measure the ball. The Brits had the big Brown Bess large caliber as well as us. Had to hurt. The Dandy was prob English made. Stay on site dig low signals.
