Hit my favorite secret spot tonight. Hunted late into the night. Quiet. It was about 38 degrees and light snow. Had a great hunt! Couple silvers. One really sharp Barber dime and even a V nickel. I've found very few of those. It was a deep 11/12 on the 800. Sterling ring, some buttons, and a hem weight. Overall, an enjoyable time AND a good hunt. Thanks for looking.

I also found an old British coin (I think). I posted better pictures of it in the "Help Me ID" threads.

Great hunt there Stiffy. Congrats on the shiny, wheats and the other goodies. That Barber has the most detail I've seen in a long time. Very nice. I saw the Id on the Farthing, congrats on you new oldest coin. Good luck, Mark

Thanks Mark. I had no idea it looked so sharp in the dark. I put some scratches across it not being careful cleaning it off in the field. I'm actually glad that 1913 is one of the most common.

Real nice finds again. Braving the snow and cold like that makes me wonder, are you a POST MAN. Not sleet nor snow nor dead of night will stop you!!!! Great finds
