I got off work at 5:00 this morning, and got to bed around 6:30. At 10:30, I was up wanting to hit a park or two, but it was raining pretty steadily. It finally stopped around 5:30 this evening, so I grabbed the detector, and thought I would hit a small park that has given up a few silvers this year. It was pretty wet obviously, but the temperatures were in the low 70's. I only stayed about 1 1/2 hours, but did find this 1942 Merc, and a .925 silver cross. Being tired, I was hesitant, but I am glad I went! Thanks for looking and happy hunting!
