Detecto got me thinking with one of his threads. Let's see the close-up or macro shots that you have taken. Doesn't have to be of jewelry or coins, although it sure can though. Here are a few of mine.

Love the Red Eft! That is the ONLY life stage of the newt that I have not found in the wild! Nice Pics!

"Spider with egg sack" - That's a freaging redback!! I didn't even know we had them in the united states!

And what kind of spider is that on the daisy? It looks like it may be a wolf spider, but I've never seen one with leg spikes!

They're all VERY nice photos, BTW. Thanks both for sharing AND for opening a thread like this, because some of these other posters have some really nice photos, too!
 
DIGGER - I LOVE that praying mantis!!! Great work!!

I guess I'll toss some of mine here. I'll mix it up a little between full macro and simple closeup. Camera is a Canon A2000/IS (except for the southern ringneck snake (which is full grown, BTW) which was taken with a Toshiba PDR-M65 camera)
