The sad part about this is that when I found it I thought it was a dirty Clad quarter. Found in the Stoneham Mass woods, not sure exactly where? Anyway, The next morning I was cleaning out the trash and coins in my pouch and began stacking up the clad...all dimes, all nickles etc. That's when I noticed that one of the quarters was thicker than the rest. When I took a closer look, nearly had a stroke!!! Not in too bad a shape for a 295 year old coin. My oldest yipee.. What makes this hobby so much fun

A King George I halfpenny or possibly farthing (can't determine the exact size in your attachment) and in pretty good condition. An oldie for America! Well done!
