Here's a few things I've found lately, mostly from the backyard:
This pair of earrings looks like it was fairly nice costume jewelry at one time. They appear to be made of copper with gold plating. The pair was found separated in distance by tens of feet and in time by a month.
This is a nice simple sterling silver brooch (ladies please correct me if I have misidentified the style, because it doesn't look like a normal brooch - is this what they used to call a "bar pin"?) Anyone recognize the maker stamping?
Here's Father Abraham/wheatie. Anyone one have any recommendations to get the date visible without destruction?
This is a decent "bitter ender" (1964) Rosie found on a curb strip some blocks away from the backyard.
This is a whopper stainless steel washer with the Rosie inside it for scale. It is at least an eighth of an inch thick and was found on a vacant lot several lots down the street.
