List of "Harder to Dig" 20th Century American Coins. Have You Completed This List? *I added to my list*

Hey Stiffwrists, I dug a 40% silver Kennedy half, so that one finally gets X'ed off. I figure a 90% 1964 half is highly unlikely, so I won't worry about that. I want to thank you for starting this thread way back when. I only have 3 coins left, to check off your original list. So far, so fun!

Thanks for updating this thread! It has been a fun one! When someone remembers it, and adds to their list, there are others that see it and add/begin their list too. I'm down to 3 also. Morgan, Peace, and that Silver Kennedy. Great work on the Silver Kennedy! That one is arguably the hardest one on this list to find.

Time to bump this thread up again. Moving right along, I get to check "Franklin Half" off my list today! Only 2 left to go! Still looking for that steel/rust wheat cent and a big ol' Morgan dollar!

Franklin
And silver dollars, none. Unless you count counterfeit
I do have a Nova, hard times and a Realle

Been blessed with digging everything on your list but a "V" Nickel. This being my 9th year in the hobby I still have not put my coil over one. Trapper

Here’s hoping you never do. It’s not much, just call it something to live for

Thanks for the list. Made one but it wasn't as extensive as yours. Living in California, I'm thinking my chances of the early and mid-1800 finds might be a bit slim. Still nice to have an expanded list.

Thanks and Semper Fi

Still looking for a Liberty Quarter, Barber Half, Silver Kennedy, Morgan and Peace dollars.
What do you have left to find from this list of 20th century American coins??

**Edit** Since I posted this, I've found a Standing Liberty Quarter.

I'm not sure Susan B.s are "hard to find" I probably find a dozen to two dozen a year. (1-3 a month). They're still in circulation in all the vending machines that spit out dollar coins...

Still, though, nice list!! :) I'm missing all but 9 of them.LOL It's hard to find those things in soccer fields and schools, though surprisingly, I've landed a Morgan and a Walking Half!

:?: Are you sure those are Susan B Anthony coins, and not Sacagewea dollar coins? Susan B's were only produced 1979 to 1981, and just don't show up that often.

I agree. I've found maybe a dozen of them. They are just "harder" than your average clad. I've also found over 1000 wheat pennies. They are definitely harder to find than wheat pennies!
