Went out between raindrops to do a little hunting at a local ball field. I have been there many times but noticed they removed the bleachers for social distance. Raced home to get the A T and found the usual clad. then I got a slamming 96, I recently found my first silver dollar with the same signal. Up pops Trixie. It was not very old and had the phone number on it so I figured I would give it a call. The young lady that answered the phone was a bit wary at first but after I explained that I had found her dogs tag she perked right up. We made plans to meet (she picked her house which surprised me) and had a pleasant return. It may not be a ring but she was very happy to have it returned.

Even though it's not a gold ring, the mystery-solved reunion stories are always fun to see. Thanx for bringing us along.

Cool! I've returned those too! Sometimes on the same street as where I found them. A few had address, so i just left them with a note. Others that had phone numbers, I texted a picture to and called. Only one of those was still a good number. All of the ones I returned were for pets that had died and the owners were surprised and thankful.

Cool return! I found one on a ballfield too. Was right next to a busy four lane so i was a bit worried about what might have happened but turned out the dog was fine and her owner came out and got the tag while i was still detecting the area
