Stayed at a new resort this weekend and helped a new detectorist become obsessed with this hobby. We did several amphibious assaults on some rocky islands and did pretty good. Found my oldest silver quarter ever, a mere eleventy one years old. A 1909 D Barber, a 1913 wheatie, 1941 nickel, 1971 D half, an East Caribbean cent, a watch, a spoon, several bullets and some clad. Happy hunting and thanks for looking.
