2 Weekends ago My Detecting partner ChrisCo and I were driving home after a hunt and were scouting out new areas when a couple of Miles from a 1850's Mining town we came across a Cemetery that opened in the 1850's and is still in use today as there are a few "fresh" graves there.

NO we did not detect it but did go inside to check out all of the History..
was a VERY cool place and the Cemetery has the ABSOLUTE Coolest Cemetery Gate EVER !!

That is so cool! There's a pretty cool gate out in my neck of the woods called spider gates in Leicester, MA. I believe it is an old Quaker cemetery. Maybe a dozen or so graves with a big creepy tree in the middle that looks almost perfect for something to hang from it... Haven't been out there in years, was a big party spot back in high school. Ahh memories, thanks for sharing!
