Soooo, today after work, I grabbed the Nox, crossed the street and starting hunting the curb strip. For the most part, I was picking up trash and clad, but then I got a solid 26-27. Thinking I had silver under the coil, I was excited to dig. When I pulled out a very light, shiny, yet crusty coin, I was a bit confused... I could see that it had Theodore Roosevelt on it, but I had no clue what kind of coin it was.
Come to find out, it is a 1968 Shell’s Mr. President Aluminum Coin Game piece. Manufacturer: The Franklin Mint in 1968 and 1969. If you would like to read more about the game, I found a good write up on it at: The Crazy Shell's Mr. President Coin Game page. Also, this is where I got the Coin Game Board image below.
Also picked up a 1932 and 1955 wheat penny.
