Last week I got permission at an older property and scored 3 silvers(a Washington and 2 rosies), but the grass was shin high. Figured there had to be more, so I offered to mow the grass in exchange for another shot. The owner was more than happy at the offer. Long story short, I mowed for an hour and only scored one more silver, but what a nice one!
One of the things I love most about detecting is the surprises like this. A 1936 one shilling from Territory of New Guinea?! Love it! Thanks for looking and happy hunting all.
