#15 silver ring FTY and a wierd $1 dollar coin

I dug a nice big silver ring today after work stamped 925 WF and also my 5th dollar coin of the year but it is different than any I have seen. It has John Adams on the front of it but there isn't a year on the coin. I will research it later. Hopefully the bank will take it with all my other CLAD.

Check the rim of the dollar coin. Pretty sure the date is there on the presidential dollars. They will take them fine, and it is modern, post 2000.

As Zse said the coin is part of the presidential series. As you will find they are not rare but are a nice add to the clad coffers. Another nice outing Jim. Congrats on the big Sterling Ring. Jack

Yea, I have a James Garfield, George Washington and a Sacajawea dollar coins. I guess the mint will have all the presidents and famous americans eventually. I think they are pretty cool. Nice find!

I got a John Adams last year , the mint and date is on the edge of the coin.
