No idea. Heavy, not magnetic, could be gold plating on surface, looks like a mounting hole on the back, it is threaded.

Where was it found? It looks like a piece from an escalator..the metal treading...not saying that’s it. It’s just what it reminds me of..

Obviously part of something, probably decorative due to it being gold color/plated. It is not broken but had a very small attachment screw. Beveled on the flat end. Wing shape??
