i just got a coin master pro. one of the places i detect had a small battle fought on it during the civil war. was wondering what lead and brass show up as on the coinmaster? any other tips for the detector would be helpful.

Sure will ~ bullets will sometimes bounce around and even read like iron if you are hunting in 'hot soil'. Normally read 65-72 for bullets, brass will be higher, dig everything till you get use to the machine.

i don't have the gt version. mine does not show a number. it just shows up with the iron foil pulltab and coin hits.

If I remember right on mine, lead came in around pull tabs and bottle caps, but could be all over the place depending on size. Usually gives a nice solid tone, especially for shotgun slugs.

Just had to check, it was bugging me that I couldn't remember....12 gauge slug is a solid high tone at bottle cap/zinc 1cent on the coin master pro, and it will certainly find them if you get your could over one. Hope that helps.
