I've hunted only one yard that gave up Wheats and no silver, and to be honest I haven't quite finished that yard yet. It's there, somewhere.

well there ya go. if youve missed this coin only 3 inches down on prior trips, how many smaller silvers have you missed?

. swing slow and low, and overlap your swings carefully to cover every inch of ground you can. the deeper your signal penetrates the ground, the smaller in diameter the energy field actually is. think of a snow cone cup penetrating the ground as your signal at depth.
see how easy it is to miss a small coin at 6 or 7 inches? reallllllllll easy !
past the wheaties
Well I jumped in and bought the AT Pro.Used it in the yard today for a couple hours...5 dimes...6 or 7 pennys...and of course 1 more wheatie..
I thought everyone said the at pro was chatty?out today running in pro zero
35 and 40 and sens maxed out and it done fine...Also ran it in Standard Zero
and it ran good there also...
Any good suggestions on running it different?I have pretty much cleaned all the junk out of the yard between 3 people detecting it,

Someone told me to do this: 20x20 grid, turn up sens. as high as you can (without interference) AM mode may give you a little more depth, go slow / over lap swings...
Swept left to right then right to left/ then do it diagonally both ways.
Dig all repeatable targets GOOD LUCK!

Congrats on the great finds. I find a lot of the dog tags too and I approach each one with a level of anxiety. The question always pops into my mind, I wonder where the dog is....OMG, I'm not digging another 6"

Funny thing you said that,actually the tag had the dogs name on it and a phone number on it also..So I thought what the heck give him a call..Sure enough the ole dog is still kicking....the man laughed and said yea hes still alive and well
but he dont take him on those long walks anymore...says he pretty much just lays around these day,,,I asked if he needed it returned..he laughed and said that was ok.Ole Remington has lost lots of them in the years of his travels..
