My friend Tom came to the Blue Mountains near Pomeroy Washington to meet me and my Privy Digging buddy, Christian at his old cabin up near the Umatilla Wilderness. We knew it was a CCC site but it just seemed older. Boy were we right. Tom popped the Carson City 1874 Seated almost right off. Also a nice barber dime and 4 nice wheats up all in good condition including a 1910 S. Chocolate spoon from the 20s and a 1800s horse decoration rounded out the best finds. Dug a 1920s privy to boot full of whisky bottles. Cheers! Dan.

Nice! Who doesn't love a couple hundred bucks in the form of a half-dollar!

Woot!

1874 CC variety 5, mintage 59,000, G-4 around 1100.00 VG-8 is around 1500.00 retail. Excellent find, Congrats!!!!! By the pics, the obverse appears to be VG-8 or 10, the reverse appears to be F12.

What an absolute dream of a hunt.

Huge congrats on all of the pictured finds.
The 1902S Barber has some value as well, no where near the CC but still a great find.

I love the artifacts too, especially the spoon.
Congrats again to you and your friends....just wow...

I'm so happy you posted this

I'm little more than a wannabe armchair grader, and I have it at $1200.00. I wouldn't have said it if you hadn't posted, so thank you. It's good to see I'm at least in the ballpark for a change :)
